What you get is what you pay. In China, it is possible to manufacture products at a quality level equivalent to — or even higher than — what you can buy in Europe, and it is also possible to manufacture extremely low-cost products. What is not viable is achieving maximum quality at the lowest price.
Our job is to define precisely the optimal balance between quality and cost. In many projects we can reduce the current budget by up to ~50% — not by cutting quality, but by optimising processes, materials and manufacturing structures. In other cases, the goal is not to reduce cost, but to significantly improve quality while maintaining or even lowering the budget.
Not every product requires the same level of specification. When an item is intended for intensive or repeated use, quality is critical. Conversely, when dealing with consumables or single-use products, the priority should be a cost-efficient structure. Knowing how to distinguish these scenarios is key to project success.
